The service
Cordial captures what you say, type and upload, turns it into searchable, organized notes, and lets you and the agents you connect ask about them. It's in early access and open to invited users only, so features will change as it grows.
Your account
One account is for one person. Keep your sign-in and keys to yourself: you're responsible for what happens under your account, including through keys you create. If you think a key has leaked, revoke it from the Account screen.
Your content
What you capture is yours. You give Cordial permission to store and process it only to provide the service to you, which includes sending it to the services named in the privacy policy. We don't claim any ownership of it.
Recording other people
If your recordings include other people, it's up to you to have their consent and to follow the recording laws where you are. Some places require everyone's consent.
AI can be wrong
Transcripts, clean-ups, titles, summaries, filing and chat answers are produced automatically and can contain mistakes. Check anything that matters before you rely on it. Your originals are always kept alongside.
Fair use
Don't use Cordial to break the law, to store content you have no right to, to harass anyone, to try to reach another account's data, or to overload or probe the service. Accounts that do may be suspended.
Connected agents
You decide what each connected agent may see and change. Changes an agent makes with your permission are treated as yours. The agent's own provider has its own terms.
Fees
Cordial charges for what you use, at the rates on the pricing page, paid from prepaid credits. Nothing is charged until billing is switched on, and you'll be told before it is. If a rate changes, the pricing page changes first and you'll hear about it before it applies to you.
Availability
We work to keep Cordial running and your data safe, but the service is provided as it is, without guarantees of being uninterrupted or error-free.
Ending
You can stop using Cordial at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and we'll tell you why unless the law says otherwise.
Liability
As far as the law allows, Cordial isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and its total liability to you is limited to what you've paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have that can't be limited by law.
Changes and contact
If these terms change, we'll update this page and tell account holders by email before any significant change applies. They're governed by the laws of [state], United States.
